Climate Camp
Climate Camp is one of our signature programs. Our Camps — both day camps and weeklong camps — provide the opportunity for young people, ages 7 on up to dig deep on climate change and climate solutions. Every camp is different, but we always mix science, art, nature connection, service-learning and civic action.
Check out this short video for a description of Climate Camp.

Here's a story the Indianapolis Star did about Camp, summer, 2016.
We are the only organization combining climate stewardship with civic action. In the process, we incorporate humane education practices while emphasizing racial and social justice issues, along with conflict resolution principles. Plus, we go on field trips (Eskenazi SkyFarm, Indy Urban Acres, Freewheelin' Community Bikes, Fruit Loop Acres, etc.) and have a lot of fun!
Above, young people celebrate our Climate Recovery Resolution victory in Indianapolis. Our Climate Camps often include immersion in civic and policy issues.
